Sowiks for Claude
Your screenshots and screen recordings, readable by Claude. Point it at a capture and get a bug report, a how-to or a summary, with a share link when you need one.

What Claude can do
Five tools, four of them read-only.
Browse your library
list_captures
Screenshots, recordings and GIFs, newest first. Filter by kind, by collection, or by words in a name or note.
See your collections
list_collections
Every collection with how many captures it holds, so Claude can work on a whole set at once.
Look at a screenshot
get_screenshot
Claude sees the image itself, with its name, date, note and tags, and can read the text in it.
Follow a recording
get_recording
The length and every click with its time and position, plus still frames taken at the clicks.
Share a link
create_share_link
A share.sowiks.com link to one capture or a collection, with an optional expiry. The only tool that changes anything.
Things to ask
- Look at my latest Sowiks recording and write a bug report: steps, expected, actual, and a share link.
- Turn the recording called “Onboarding” into a step-by-step guide for our help center.
- Compare the three screenshots in my “Pricing research” collection and put the plans in a table.
- Find the screenshot with the error message and tell me what it means.
- Write alt text for every screenshot in the “Launch” collection.
- Draft release notes from the screenshots I took this week.
What you need
- A Sowiks account on the Solo or Team plan.
- Captures uploaded to the Sowiks cloud. Claude sees your cloud library, not files that only live on your Mac.
- For click timelines and frames, recordings uploaded from an up-to-date Sowiks for Mac. Older recordings still show up, with their details and a share link.
Your data
- Claude reads only what a tool returns, one request at a time. Sowiks stores nothing from your conversations.
- The connector can read your library and create share links. It cannot delete, rename or upload anything.
- You approve each connection, and you can disconnect it any time under Connected Apps. It stops working at once.
- More in the privacy policy.
